An extremely easy recipe that can take no more than 5 minutes to make and give you great post-workout recovery and an amazing breakfast. A great recipe to learn. This one is free of sugar and contains our favorite sweeteners instead. Instead of granola, this recipe has nuts in it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups non-fat, 2% fat, full fat or high protein yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups assorted blackberries, raspberries and/or blueberries
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp vanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Layer 1/3 cup yogurt at bottom of serving glasses
  2. Combine the berries
  3. Alternate layers of fruit and almonds with yogurt until glasses are full
  4. Serve immediately

TIPS

If you're following a higher carb diet, you can replace chopped almonds with high quality low sugar or sugar-free granola

Sweeten with zero calorie sweetener such as erythritol, monk fruit or stevia or a dash of honey or maple syrup

Most parfait in store are loaded with added sugar so it's best to make your own unless you can one with no added sugars
