We've tried them all and we wanted to come up with the tastiest, richest and most aromatic Ghee possible! This would also be the Ghee used in our Energy Pods. We traveled to several food shows, buried ourselves in scientific literature for butter and Ghee, asked our friends in the food and nutrition industry and tested countless butters until we finally came up with our method of making ghee which, once you try it, will be the last ghee you will buy! If you've already tried Ghee, you know its flvaor is butter on steroids... but wait till you taste our Ghee. Nothing like this exists!

Ghee is butter clarified by having its water removed through the traditional Ayurvedic method of slowly cooking over an open flame. Our delicate method removes milk solids and nearly all casein and lactose, leaving a delicious caramelized and mouthwatering golden butter that adds a unique depth, richness and flavor to any recipe.

Our ghee is made from 100% Organic Butter locally made from grass-fed and pasture raised cows that graze on rich and sweet grasses in Sonoma County at Straus Family Creameries in Northern California where an old-fashioned churning method creates a flavorful butter with 85% butterfat. The quality of nutrient dense graze of the cows combined with the high butterfat gives the butter a very rich and potent aroma and taste. This butter is then taken to our Ketogeek kitchen at Napa, California where we slowly cook out the moisture and nurture it into the golden richness right in front of you!

Butter has many uses, all the way from practically replacing butter in any recipe but has far more versatility due to its high smoke point which makes it ideal for sauteing, high-heat baking and giving your morning breakfast an extra punch!

Ingredients: Organic Butter

Ghee is butter clarified by having its water removed through the traditional Ayurvedic method of slowly cooking over an open flame. Our delicate method removes milk solids and nearly all casein and lactose, leaving a delicious caramelized and mouthwatering golden butter that adds a unique depth, richness and flavor to any recipe.

No. It is shelf stable.

Through the cooking process, nearly all of lactoe and casein is removed. Also, it's gluten-free.

It's butter on steroids! It pure fat and has a very unique aromatic profile. It contains more MCTs than butter as well. It has a higher smoke point(485F) and can be used as a butter substitutein nearly all recipes.

The butter we use is certified organic but we don't plan to pay to certify our product as organic as well since it has only one ingredient! Here's a link to Straus Family Creamery's website that explains the feeding process of cows.

We don't see how it wouldn't be otherwise. *Shrugs*
